Vivienne Fiori is a Melbourne-based contemporary artist whose drawings explore place and memory through abstract form and the rich colour of soft pastel.
Observations of the natural world become a starting point: the structure of a shell, the movement of water, the rhythm of vegetation, the atmosphere of a familiar landscape. These encounters are transformed through colour, line and layered form.
Working from her home studio, Vivienne moves between what is seen and what is felt. Her practice reflects an ongoing conversation between nature and the inner self.
